zamioculcas_zamiifolia_web.jpgNative to tropical Africa. Cultivated species is Z. zamiifolia - klubenovo evergreen plant with fleshy dark green leaves with pointed ends. Leaf surface is glossy. The leaf stalks are thick, fleshy. The leaves are alternately arranged, symmetrically on the stem.

Reaches a height of 1-1,5 meters, which makes it quite capacious. Older plants with nondescript flowers blooming at the base of the leaves. Colors are a typical family conical inflorescence and bract.

Very unassuming and easy cultivation.

Called him and ZZ for short. Was first presented to the flower exhibition in Denmark in 1996.
