Alojz (Aloysia citrodora Palàu, sin: A.triphylla), also known as Lemon Verbena is a shrub originating from many years of Argentina, Paraguay, Brazil, Uruguay, Chile and Peru. The plant was transferred into Europe by the Spaniards during the 17th century. It grows to a height of 1 to 3 meters and has a strong lemon flavor. The plant is svetlolyubivo and needs a lot of water, growing on clay soil and is sensitive to low temperatures. His pale leaves are oval and slightly tapered at the end.
